Have you ever had something happen in your life that could only be explained as God's intervention, His presence, or His power at work in that moment in your life?
We call these "God stories." They have happened countless times to countless people.
Jennifer Skiff, a CNN investigative journalist, received a cancer scare in her early thirties. Through that experience, she became convinced that a Divine presence was active in her life.
She was asked one day if she had any "God stories." Intrigued by this request, her journalistic instincts took over and she began a quest to find out if others had similar experiences.
So she set up a website and began to review "God stories" as they came in. And they did, from all over the world!
Conducting interviews to identify which stories would be included in the book, she began to notice similar themes emerging. These themes became chapters, and the book took form.
The result is her first book, God Stories, a collection of amazing first-person accounts told by people from all walks of life -- all sharing remarkable experiences of encounters with God.
Healing from terminal illnesses, recovery from deadly diseases, protection from life-ending accidents, an awareness of God's literal presence, answers to seemingly impossible prayers, and many more are included in these real-life stories.
As you read one miraculous story after another, you will not only be amazed and strengthened in your faith, but you will gain a greater appreciation and awareness of God's presence, His power, and His attention to our lives today.
This book is great for personal reading as well as reading together out loud as a family, in a Bible study environment, or a small group!
